Caroline Cornish
Caroline Cornish’s research interests centre on the points of overlap between histories of plants, of collections, and of empire. She takes an object-based approach to research, much of which has focussed to date on the Economic Botany Collection, an ethnobotanical collection of over 100,000 objects at Kew Gardens. She is a board member at the Museums and Galleries History Group. She has worked in museums and is committed to public engagement as a means of knowledge production, most recently as an historical consultant to FormaFantasma’s Cambio exhibition at the Serpentine Galleries, London.
