Elizabeth Kuroyedov
Elizabeth is a settler and grateful guest on xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) unceded territories. She is currently a Researcher with the Firelight Group working in Traditional Knowledge and Use Studies and Indigenous Health. Elizabeth completed her MSc in Anthropology, Environment, and Development at University College London, focusing on the impact of forestry policy, land claims, and environmental justice in Northern India. She works on numerous projects in south coastal and northern BC, the Yukon, and central Canada spanning environmental assessments, policy-development, and legal claims. Elizabeth loves to explore the world of plants around her in the spectacular west coast temperate rainforest.
