Rommel Montúfar
Rommel Montúfar is a senior researcher in the Department of Biology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE) and co-director of the International Joint Laboratory on Biodiversity and Sustainable Agriculture in the tropical Andes (Ecuador, Colombia and France). His research focuses on the management of biological resources with particular interest in the ecology, biochemistry, ethnobiology, and population genetics of Neotropical palms.
